A night out

Beth, Nicole, and I hit up Dave and Busters tonite for a night out. Beth and I ended up staying til after midnight there, yeah, we rock...lol I gotta say, I SO needed the night out. We played LOTS of trivia, ate some food, drank a LOT (ok ok, not all of it was alcoholic...lol) and just generally had a good time. Thanks Chris for coming over to watch D sleep so I could go!!

D and I spent our afternoon in the backyard playing in his new pool. I put it up under his slide for a lot of entertainment...it was kind of cold though so he was a bit hesitant at first...lol

We spent the weekend in Oklahoma City visiting my dad and his wife. We had a great time! On saturday we went to Bricktown to eat lunch and walked along the river. At one end of it, we went into Bass Pro Shops, and then walked over to these huge statues of wagons and horses, etc. It was really neat!

D played outside in their backyard a LOT this weekend with their dog, so there are plenty of pics of that too.

On Sunday, (Mothers Day!), we joined Liz at church, and then back to their house for more play and lunch with their side of the family. I was messing with D, but it was still a wonderful lunch! I hope all of you moms had as good a Mothers Day as I did. My one sadness was that my own mom is barely a part of our lives, but I love that we are getting to know my dad and his wife more. Our trip to Sea World!

So this weekend we hit up Seaworld!!! We left the house at 430am on Saturday, and made it to San Antonio about 930am, perfect for SW opening at 10! We stayed there til dinnertime where we left to go outside of SW for dinner (Texas Roadhouse) and then went back to see the last Shamu show and stay there til they shutdown at 9pm. Sadly, my camera battery died as soon as we got back to SW for the late show, so the pics end at that, but if Beth got some good ones last night and today, I'll add those later.

Today (Sunday), we took the boys to the Ingram Park Mall in S.A. to play, and then went downtown to go to The Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. D and I left pretty shortly after that to head home. He did not sleep the ENTIRE WAY HOME...we stopped at my aunts in DeSoto to see them real quick, and only THEN did D fall asleep once back in the car...he is currently sacked out and I SO need to head that way too! Enjoy the pics!
