The CIRCUS!!

We had a BLAST at the circus!! D didn't do too well waiting in line, but he was SOOOO good during it! He sat on my lap most of the time, and was only a little scared of the cannonball and the tigers, but it passed quickly. Here's pics!

Potty Training Boot Camp weekend

So last weekend D and I hunkered down in the house and did POTTY TRAINING BOOT CAMP. We did leave once on Saturday to go on an Addison fountains playdate, which was a BLAST. I have pics of that but haven't put em up yet. Then Sunday, we stayed in underwear except for a pool party at my aunts house. D did really good. He even told me once that he had to go potty!

SOOOOOO...Monday I put him in underwear at school! Monday, his teacher put him in a pullup most of the day, not realizing what quite to expect, but Tuesday he rocked the underwear all day. He had 3 total accidents. But with one he was ON the potty, just not tucked in properly. Then yesterday he stayed DRY all day except for a minor accident on the way to school, BUT he did poop in his undies....blah...two steps forward, one step back, etc, etc, etc. I'm still SUPER proud of him for doing what he's been doing!!

Tonite we are going to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey CIRCUS!!! WOOTTTT!!! I'll be sure to post pics! One of the AWESOME women on DFWAM posted about halfprice tickets so we are sitting on the lower level for half the cost.

Our weekend in San Antonio and SEAWORLD

It was one crazy weekend! We get up Saturday morning and are out the door at 5am only to find this:

Yup it had a huge nail in it! Urgghhh...I was freaking out, but my friend Kristen finally came over (thank you KRISTEN!!!!) and changed it to my fullsize spare and we were on the road at 9am...
We got to my friend Tina's house (she was coming to Sea World with us) in Austin and we ate lunch there...
D got bit by her dog! D was all getting up in the dog's face and the dog snapped at him...yikes! D freaked OUT, but praise the Lord, the damage was not bad. He had two superficial scratches on his face which were faded by the afternoon and then a tooth cut on the inside of his upper lip which bled abit but it stopped quick and really wasn't that bad. So that was our trauma for the day...lol
We were at Sea World alllllllll afternoon and evening, and were exhausted! D did great though, I mean, he was a bit whiny and stuff, but he didn't fall out with a tantrum or anything. He perked up a bit after we ate, and he LOVED the sealions and Shamu! He never actually touched a dolphin, but he at least stayed on his tummy on the side of the pool, didn't try to jump in. Here's pics from the weekend! We made it home about 630 or so on Sunday and D was passed out in the bed about 715...slept allllllllll night...
